About the course

‘The Early Consultant Career Course has been developed to help meet the challenges of life as a consultant. The aim of the course is to cover the things you never had to know as a registrar, but on which you are suddenly expected to be an expert when you become a consultant. A distinguished panel of speakers will address issues ranging from transitioning into your consultant role, dealing with complaints, career progression and your role in management, to private practice and making the most of your finances. This course is essential to surviving and maximising your opportunities in those crucial formative years as a consultant cardiologist.’
