To describe the new landscape of local delivery networks, clinical pathways and technological pathway management.
To provide a forum for local clinical teams to showcase their proposals for pathway redesign with a focus on technological innovation
To provide a forum to interrogate each of the proposals by and expert panel and agree the “winning” proposal ( Hackathon / Dragon Dens style)

Abstracts are invited for the Digital Pathway Summit 2022 (transforming clinical care pathways for patients) on 6 April. The Summit is a unique opportunity to showcase new or proposed programmes aimed at enhancing clinical pathways for patients between primary and specialist cardiac care, in line with the new Cardiac Pathways Improvement Program (CPIP).
The abstracts, which need to be submitted by 5.00 pm on Monday 28 February, will be judged by a panel of experts, and the 4 top-scoring abstracts will be invited to present at the Summit on Wednesday 6 April at the Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) in London.
At the Summit the expert panel will scrutinise the 4 presentations in front of a live online audience and the winning programme will be selected.
The winning presenter will receive a free place at the five-day BCS/Mayo review course in 2023.
A broad variety of programmes are encouraged and should contain the following key elements:
