Education for Revalidation (E4R) - Formative Assessment
Thank you for attending one of the Education for Revalidation (E4R) sessions at the 2013 BCS Annual Conference. In this area you can take formative assessments (in the format of Multiple Choice Questions) on 7 of the 10 sessions in the E4R track. To try your hand at these formative assessments you should:
1. Attend an E4R session at the 2013 Annual Conference (or view its webcast on the BCS website if you were unable to attend);
2. Answer the 6-12 MCQs relating to that session (enter the Formative Assessment area by clicking below);
3. Receive a BCS certificate via email relating to those topics (from 2010 Cardiology Core Curriculum) or try the MCQs again if you score is under 60%.
These Formative Assessments will remain open for 2 weeks after the 2013 Annual Conference. The certificate can be used as evidence for revalidation purposes (in your e-portfolio).
There is a rolling 5-year programme planned for the Education for Revalidation tracks at our Annual Conference to cover the syllabus of the Cardiology Curriculum..
