Resuscitation Training
The Resuscitation Council (UK) is delighted to offer you the opportunity to update your knowledge and skills in the resuscitation whilst attending the BCS conference.
A team of experienced Instructors will provide five resuscitation sessions during the conference each lasting 1.5 hours. Each session will provide an update on aspects of resuscitation considered crucial to achieving successful outcomes (30 min) followed by scenario-based training in small groups (60 min).
You are invited to register for one of these sessions. Please note there is a £10.00 fee for these sessions. Early booking is advised as places are limited.
The principle learning objectives and outcomes will be:
- to understand how the quality of CPR may affect outcome;
- to revise the important components of current resuscitation guidelines and be able to apply these during practical simulation training;
- to understand the role of the team leader, team members and team working within practical simulation training;
- To understand the application of guidelines in more specialised circumstances (e.g. catheter and device laboratories, use of ultrasound during CPR).
