The final Assessment of Workforce Priorities (AWP) summer 2008 is now available on WRT's website or can be downloaded by clicking here.

 

WRT would like to thank all those who took the time to provide feedback. Generally, feedback was positive and respondents were in broad agreement with our assessment of the current priorities in workforce planning. Therefore the key priorities identified have remained the same in the final document, although it has been modified to take account of some detailed comments received during the consultation period.

 

The AWP is based on data and intelligence gathered by WRT from a series of workforce reviews involving representatives from SHAs, professional bodies, the Department of Health, local trusts and other stakeholders.

 

The AWP builds on evidence contained in WRT's workforce summaries and proformas. These include workforce modelling and commentary which are available on the WRT website.
