BCS is the voice for those working in cardiovascular health, science and disease management in the UK; we aim to promote and support both the healthcare professionals who work in cardiology and the patients for whom we want to encourage the best possible treatment. Our members are healthcare professionals, working in the field of cardiovascular health. Becoming a member of the Society offers healthcare professionals significant benefits, including:

- Paper Heart at a discounted subscription
- Free access to CardioSource in collaboration with the ACC
- Free registration at our Annual Conference and Exhibition (by applying for early-bird fees)
- Automatic membership of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC)
- Professional representation with the Royal College of Physicians
- Representation at the Department of Health
- Support for ACCEA Awards
- Receiving all notices and electronic communications of the Society
- Full participation in business meetings and voting rights
- The option to stand for nominated BCS positions or to become part of the ASC faculty

Cost of membership
- £220 + VAT for ordinary membership
- £140 + VAT if you do not hold clinics, e.g. you are a nurse, technician, basic scientist. Or if you are a non-Physician and a member of one of our Affiliated Groups
- £75.00 + VAT if you are working as a Consultant Cardiologist outside of the UK
- £100 Joint Membership of BJCA & BCS, SCST & BCS or of BANCC & BCS
