The British Cardiovascular Society offers advertisement and endorsement to appropriate meetings, symposia, conferences, workshops and written educational material. Endorsement indicates that the meeting or written material has been scrutinised and vetted by the Society and is of high educational value.

The Society may request permission to publish material on the website or to make it available to members, for example, through downloading of slides.

The Society is able to offer a number of levels of service:

Advertisement of a meeting on BCS website

This will promote an event that is considered to be of interest to members.

Statement of endorsement by BCS and use of BCS logo

Meetings and written educational material seeking endorsement must meet the following criteria:

High educational value – full programme or list of chapter headings to be made available to the Society
Non-promotional
Open to all relevant health professionals
Acceptable sponsorship arrangements
Confirmation that CME/CPD had been applied for if relevant

The following scale of charges will apply:

Advertisement on BCS website only	250 + VAT, Gross £293.75
Endorsement of un sponsored meetings	£250 + VAT, Gross £293.75
Endorsement of sponsored meetings	£1000 + VAT, Gross £1,175
Endorsement of written material – minimum charge	£1000* + VAT, Gross £1,175

*Higher charges made for major publications where detailed review is needed

Speakers and authors

Applications for endorsement for meetings should include the programme for the meeting with a
complete list of speakers.

Applications for endorsement of written material should include a table of contents.
Applications will generally only be considered if there is formal BCS involvement in development.
The BCS will only endorse completed written material in exceptional circumstances.
