Dr Jane Flint Bridgewater Dr Jane Flint Bridgewater is the Founding Trustee and Clinical Lead of Cardiovascular Care Partnership UK, established in 2003 and affiliated to BCS as its Patient Voice in 2004. National Clinical Adviser for Cardiac Rehabilitation 2008-2012, and Medical Director of Action Heart since 1988, she has championed Patient Empowerment throughout her career as a Cardiologist, appreciating the potential of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation graduates as developed within The Black Country Cardiovascular Network & Carer Partnership during her Clinical Directorship, to establish improved patient care pathways. Honorary Senior Lecturer, University of Birmingham, and Senior Academy Tutor in Dudley, she teaches in semi-retirement including her sub-specialist areas of cardiac imaging, cardiac rehabilitation and women's heart health. Previously on British Cardiovascular Society Council for, in turn, BACPR, DGHs and Women in Cardiology between 1995 and 2009, Trustee to the British Heart Foundation 2006-2014, she now acts as a Specialist Adviser for the Care Quality Commission among governance interests.
