Dr Martin Lowe Martin Lowe is a consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist, specialising in the treatment of arrhythmias in adults and children with catheter ablation and pacemaker / defibrillator implantation. Having qualified from St Georges Hospital, London, he trained in London and Cambridge, before undertaking a research fellowship at The Mayo Clinic, USA. He is currently based at The Heart Hospital, University College Hospitals Trust, and Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. Current research interests include ablation strategies in those with atrial arrhythmias accompanying cardiomyopathy or congenital heart disease and risk stratification in patients and families predisposed to sudden cardiac death.
